Do you plant or seed the food plot?
No, we clear and prep the ground: mulching brush and trees, shaping the plot, and leaving it ready to work and plant. Seeding, fertilizing, and liming are on your side (or your local ag supplier's), so it's planted exactly how you want it.
How do you clear a food plot?
Our forestry mulcher cuts and grinds brush, saplings, and small trees right where they stand, leaving a layer of mulch instead of a pile to burn or haul off. That gets you to bare, workable ground in a single pass.
Will mulching leave the ground good for planting?
Yes. Mulching leaves topsoil and root structure mostly intact, which is better for planting than pushing and grading, which strips the topsoil off. For larger or more established trees, we can pair mulching with stump grinding if you need a completely clean surface.
